Collect CPD Credits
Our Health & Safety in the Office course is certified by the CPD Certification Service and will earn each employee one hours worth of CPD. We provide a certificate, which each employee can download and a report covering each employee showing the pass grade so that you can provide an audit of training.

This course is aimed at all of your employees based within your offices. You have a legal obligation to make colleagues aware of the risks within their working environment and their responsibilities under the Health & Safety Act.

WHAT ARE THE Course Contents

The course covers the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and the Management of Health & Safety Regulations (1999). It details the purpose of the Health & Safety Inspectorate and the controls which organisations must put in place to comply with the law.
The course also details responsibilities under the regulations for the organisation, management and the employee.
The course cover all manner of Heath & Safety risks, ranging from the most common risks such as slips, trips and falls and manual lifting, to the less common risks such as fire safety, buildings, working at heights and lone working etc.
In addition the training also includes advice on health and safety issues whilst driving at work.
The course provides guidance to both management and employees on how to assess risks on a constant basis, providing further advice on reporting requirements including RIDDOR.
The course also includes a section on display screen equipment (DSE), which many other courses do not cover, instead making these an additional cost course.
The DSE section provides advice on how to set up a workstation to reduce the risks associated with display screen equipment.
